A nasal cannula is a device used to deliver pure oxygen to a patients lungs by a oxygen concentrator or oxygen tank for respiratory purposes. A Nasal Cannula consists of a long plastic tubing with a split end that fits behind the ears and in front of the face, and a set of two prongs (Flared or Non-Flared) which are placed in the nostrils to deliver the therapeutic oxygen.
