1. Connect the opening of the mask to the mouthpiece of the MDI spacer.

2. Attach the MDI to the spacer. Follow your physician’s instructions for priming the MDI.

3. Place the mask over the patient’s mouth and nose.

4. Activate the MDI according to your physician’s instructions.

5. Remove the mask from patient’s face after each medication activation and inhalation.

6. Repeat as prescribed by the physician.
